  • Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic Acid Gel Fillers to plump and define facial features.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are a popular choice for those seeking to enhance facial contours, reduce wrinkles, and restore lost volume. HA is a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps maintain skin hydration and elasticity. When used as a dermal filler, it can provide immediate and noticeable improvements, making it a favored option for non-surgical facial rejuvenation.Benefits of Hyaluronic Acid Fillers: The primary benefit of HA fillers is their ability to provide natural-looking results with minimal downtime. They can smooth out fine lines, plump up lips, and add volume to areas such as the cheeks, nasolabial folds, and under the eyes. The effects are usually visible immediately after the procedure and can last from six months to over a year, depending on the specific product used and individual factors. HA fillers are also reversible; if you are not satisfied with the results, an enzyme called hyaluronidase can be used to dissolve the filler.Risks and Side Effects: While HA fillers are generally safe, they do come with some risks and potential side effects. Common side effects include redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site. These are usually temporary and resolve within a few days. More serious but rare complications can include infection, allergic reactions, and the formation of lumps or nodules under the skin. In very rare cases, vascular occlusion, which can cause tissue damage.

Contraindications: Not everyone is a suitable candidate for HA fillers. Contraindications include individuals with severe allergies, particularly those with a history of anaphylaxis or allergies to gram-positive bacterial proteins. People with bleeding disorders or those on certain medications that affect blood clotting should also avoid HA fillers. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are advised to postpone filler treatments. Additionally, individuals with active skin infections or inflammation in the area to be treated should wait until these conditions have resolved.

Please note, that more than one treatment may be needed to achieve the look you desire. In general,  larger areas (eg, cheeks, jawline) and clients 50+ will require more treatments.

  • PLLA COLLAGEN STIMULATING TREATMENT

Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) filler is a popular option in the realm of aesthetic enhancements. Here's some information you can use for your booking platform:

    ---

    **What is PLLA Filler?**

PLLA filler, short for Poly-L-lactic acid, is a biodegradable synthetic polymer that has been used for years in various medical applications, including dissolvable stitches. In aesthetics, PLLA is utilized as a volumizer and collagen stimulator to improve facial contours, reduce wrinkles, and restore lost facial volume due to aging.

    **How Does PLLA Filler Work?**

Unlike traditional dermal fillers that provide immediate volume, PLLA works gradually by stimulating the body's natural collagen production. This results in a more natural-looking enhancement that improves over time. As collagen production increases, the skin becomes firmer, smoother, and more youthful in appearance.

    **Benefits of PLLA Filler:**

    1. **Long-lasting Results:** PLLA filler offers results that can last up to two years or more, making it a cost-effective option for those seeking long-term improvements.
    2. **Natural-Looking Enhancement:** Since PLLA stimulates collagen production, the results appear gradual and natural, avoiding the "overfilled" look.
    3. **Versatile Treatment:** PLLA filler can address various concerns, including facial wrinkles, creases, and volume loss, providing comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
    4. **Biocompatible and Safe:** PLLA is biocompatible, meaning it's compatible with the body's natural processes, and has a proven safety profile when administered by a qualified professional.

    **Treatment Process:**

    1. **Consultation:** A consultation with a qualified healthcare provider is essential to assess the patient's concerns, discuss expectations, and determine if PLLA filler is suitable for them.
    2. **Treatment Session:** During the treatment session, the PLLA filler is injected into targeted areas of the face using a fine needle or cannula. Multiple sessions may be required to achieve optimal results.
    3. **Recovery:** Minimal downtime is associated with PLLA filler injections. Patients may experience mild swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection sites, which typically resolve within a few days.
    4. **Results:** While some immediate volume may be noticeable, the full effects of PLLA filler develop gradually over several weeks as collagen production increases. Results can last up to two years or more, depending on individual factors.

PLLA filler offers a unique approach to facial rejuvenation by stimulating the body's natural collagen production. With long-lasting results and a natural-looking enhancement, PLLA filler is a popular choice for individuals seeking comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

*PLEASE NOTE; FOR OPTIMAL RESULTS,  2 TREATMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED,  2-3 MONTHS APART*

    1 hour, £350.00

  • Neurotoxin Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Relax those muscles and soften those wrinkles with Anti-Wrinkle injections.

A monthly membership scheme is available for clients wishing to spread the cost of treatments.

    Please ask for details.

Botulinum toxin, commonly known by brand names such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, is a popular treatment for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, particularly dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle movements, like frown lines, forehead creases, and crow's feet. By temporarily blocking nerve signals to the targeted muscles, Botulinum toxin injections smooth out these wrinkles, resulting in a more youthful and relaxed appearance.Benefits of Botulinum Toxin: The primary benefit of Botulinum toxin treatments is their ability to deliver noticeable wrinkle reduction with minimal downtime. The procedure is quick, typically taking just 10 to 20 minutes, and the effects become visible within a few days to two weeks, lasting three to six months. In addition to cosmetic benefits, Botulinum toxin can also be used for medical purposes, such as treating chronic migraines, excessive sweating, and certain muscle disorders. For cosmetic use, the results are subtle and natural-looking, enhancing the overall facial aesthetics without altering one's fundamental appearance.Risks and Side Effects: Although Botulinum toxin treatments are generally safe when performed by qualified professionals, there are potential risks and side effects. Common side effects include temporary bruising, swelling, and redness at the injection site. Some individuals may experience headaches, flu-like symptoms, or mild pain. More serious but rare complications can include drooping eyelids or eyebrows, asymmetry, and difficulty swallowing or breathing if the toxin spreads beyond the intended area. Allergic reactions are uncommon but possible, making it crucial to disclose any known allergies to your practitioner before treatment.Suitability Concerns: Botulinum toxin treatments may not be suitable for everyone. Clients over the age of 65 and those with significant skin laxity might find that the effects are less pronounced, as these treatments are less effective on deeply set wrinkles and sagging skin. In such cases, alternative treatments like dermal fillers or surgical options may be more appropriate. Additionally, individuals with certain medical conditions, such as neuromuscular disorders, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, should avoid Botulinum toxin injections. Before deciding on Botulinum toxin treatment, it is essential to have a detailed consultation with a qualified practitioner. This will allow you to discuss your medical history, aesthetic goals, and any potential risks, ensuring that this treatment is the best choice for your needs and circumstances.
